Sr. Software Developer / Teamlead

We are looking for an enthusiastic, results-oriented Sr. Software Developer with substantial experience in technical project management and as a team leader. However, the tasks of the Sr. Software Developer will also comprise a significant amount of "hands on" advanced web programming and Linux system administration. Required skills and competencies:

  • Project management: Proven track record as a technical project-manager in fast paced web-development environment with a variety of stakeholders
  • Team-Lead: Excellent social skills as a team-leader
  • Object oriented programming: In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming, ideally Perl
  • Programming Languages: Excellent working knowledge of an object-oriented programming language and experience with at least another language. Said languages should include one of Perl, Python and Ruby
  • Databases: In-depth knowledge of SQL, database design and administration
  • Linux: Familiarity with the use of a Linux system as a development platform and with the use and integration of open source software
  • Web: Knowledge of web technologies: web servers, HTTP, HTML, CSS, XML, DNS, CGI, networking
  • Programming / Web: Experience in the development of dynamic web sites
  • System Administration: Experience in the administration of a Linux system, preferably with a Debian or Ubuntu distro

Bilingual Online Marketing Editor

Terms of employment: Short Term Contract (6 months)
Hours: Full time

We are looking for a bilingual graduate to work as an online marketing editor for a variety of websites.

As an Online Marketing Editor, you will write content for various websites, in verticals like finance, travel or retail. You will adapt your writing style to suit the personality of each website. You will also use your marketing skills for keyword mining, ad copywriting and pay-per-click campaigns management.
You will need to work quickly and meet aggressive deadlines. To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Fluency in TWO of the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish.
  • Strong Copywriting skills
  • Strong interest for online marketing
  • Interest for SEO and PPC
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work fast
  • Competency in use of Excel

This position is short term but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

No previous experience in online marketing is required.
